Don’t overlook the importance of increasing your website traffic through repeat visits. If you neglect to give people a way to stay in touch with you, most of your visitors will leave and never come back.
Use these tips to drive repeat website visits with email marketing:

  • Add a website sign-up form to your website and make it prominent above the scroll line
  • Give people a good reason to sign-up
    • Avoid using generic wording like “Join Our Email List.” Instead, tell them what’s in it for them when they join your mailing list
  • Leverage a welcome email to bring them back to your site

  • Place your website link in your account profile.

  • Pique curiosity with just a slight glimpse of your promotion or new content when sharing a link to your website.
  • Rinse and repeat links by reposting with a new comment or image each time.
Pinterest (Over 100 Million Users)
  • Verify your website to show Pinterest users that you are legitimate
  • Upload your Pins from your website, not your computer
  • Limit your Pin descriptions to 200 characters and avoid too many hashtags
