When inspiration fails you, don’t give up. Study after study shows that, when it comes to blogging, the companies that invest in consistency are the ones that come out ahead.
Data gathered by Impact suggests that “B2B marketers who use blogs generate 67% more leads per month than those who do not,” while “B2C companies that blog generate 88% more leads per month than those that do not.”
And though they go on to share Hubspot data demonstrating that ‘78% of companies that update their blogs daily have acquired a customer from their blog,” and that “Companies that blog 20 or more times in a month see the most return in traffic and leads,” you don’t necessarily need to hit this specific milestone to see results from your blogging efforts.
You do, however, need to set a regular editorial calendar and stick to it.
So if your deadlines are looming and writer’s block has you stuck staring at a blank page, use the prompts below to uncover your next big idea.

- Write a post targeting an adjacent audience – What audience segments aren’t you currently reaching? Blog posts can help frame your products or services in light of their interests.
