WordCamp Nagpur 2024 wrapped up on September 28th at the Chitnavis Centre, right in the heart of the city. It was a day packed with engaging sessions, community-driven discussions, and a spirit of learning. The event gathered WordPress enthusiasts, developers, designers, and entrepreneurs from across the region, making it a vibrant and collaborative gathering. 

This year’s event saw an incredible mix of sessions, workshops, and discussions that catered to all levels of WordPress users—from beginners looking to set up their first website to seasoned developers working on advanced plugins and themes. The relaxed yet engaging atmosphere made it easy for attendees to connect, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of the platform.

Why WordCamps matter

For the Nagpur community, this event was a chance to strengthen ties, learn new skills, and contribute back to the platform that powers a significant portion of the web.

 Sessions at WordCamp Nagpur  

One of our team members delivered standout session that was well-received by the audience:  

Siddhant Wadhwani, Manager – Software Development Engineer in Test, delivered an insightful session titled, “Ignite your digital brilliance with WordPress and LinkedIn.” He focused on how to leverage these platforms to create effective digital strategies, offering practical advice that resonated with both beginners and seasoned professionals. 

More notable sessions: 

  • Nidhi Jain shared valuable insights in her talk, “Building customer soyalty for Startups through exceptional support.” She discussed how startups can transform their approach to customer support, turning it into a key tool for creating loyal brand advocates. 
  • Vachan Kudmule demonstrated the potential of ChatCommerce in his session, “Magic of Conversational Commerce,” showing how to turn a traditional WooCommerce store into an interactive ChatCommerce experience. 
  • Tripad Mishra explored the power of automation in his session, “WordPress workflow automations.” He highlighted the use of open-source automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance team collaboration within WordPress environments.
