A throwback to WordCamp Europe Berlin in 2019
WordCamp is an international conference series for WordPress fans by WordPress fans. Overseen by WordCamp Central, local volunteers and sponsors organize WordCamps in cities around the world. Bluehost is a global sponsor for WordCamp.
The intent behind hosting WordCamps is to educate and bring together WordPress users of all experience levels and in all kinds of roles, from content creators to developers.
WordCamp US was the flagship US event that was supposed to take place in St. Louis from October 27-29. Although organizers initially pivoted to a virtual event format, on July 30, 2020, organizers announced that the event is cancelled.

September 2 – WordSesh EMEA
While WordCamp is a casual community event recommended for WordPress users of all kinds, WordSesh is for WordPress professionals.
WordSesh has conferences all over the world. WordSesh AMER (for the Americas) was in May, but WordSesh EMEA is coming up on September 2.
Although WordSesh’s schedule is on European time zones, registration isn’t limited to WordPress professionals living in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Attendees from all over the world can participate.

October 2 – WordPress Accessibility Day
The accessibility team at WordPress.org is hosting its first-ever WordPress Accessibility Day on October 2. This 24-hour virtual event will cover topics at the intersection of website accessibility and WordPress.
Accessibility is an increasingly important topic within the discussion about inclusion and website usability. This event is recommended for anyone who builds or manages WordPress websites and works on accessibility, or just wants to know more about it.
Talks will cover topics such as accessibility in themes and plugins, accessible content, and assistive technologies.
The WordPress Accessibility Day event is accepting speaker applications until August 15. You can sign up to receive email updates about when tickets become available. In the meantime, follow the WordPress Accessibility team on Twitter.
