As more companies and nonprofits are evolving into social enterprises (a hybrid of charity and business), many are counting on social media to help them succeed. With online charity giving steadily rising, along with the ever-increasing popularity of social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, and more, it\u2019s not hard to find a number of recent examples of social enterprises that are effectively using social media to aid in their efforts.
