Now that you\u2019ve celebrated your new blog or business venture, you may be wondering what to do next and how to create a WordPress website<\/a>. Don\u2019t worry. This short guide will walk you through how to create your first web page step by step.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choose a Theme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Bluehost, we simplify your life by automatically installing WordPress on all shared and hosting accounts. When choosing a theme, you have the choice between basic and premium themes. A theme is a pre-designed template that tells WordPress what your site will look like.         Now that you have a theme, it\u2019s time to create your pages. For example, you may want an \u201cAbout\u201d page, a \u201cTestimonials\u201d page, a \u201cServices\u201d page, or a \u201cContact\u201d page, depending on the goals of your website. You can create these pages through the \u201cPages\u201d WordPress feature. Here\u2019s how to do it.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Turn your attention to the sidebar and locate \u201cPages.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            2. Once you are ready to publish your page, find the \u201cPublish\u201d button on the right side of your screen. As soon as you click the blue button, your new page will go live. Remember, since you have selected a theme, WordPress will automatically import your page into the design you selected.               How to Add a Page to a Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
