Viewing Visitor Stats in Account Manager

Visitor stats provide essential insights into your website's traffic, helping you analyze user behavior and trends. In Account Manager, you can easily track visitor data, including page views, unique visits, and referral sources. This guide will show you how to access and interpret these stats to optimize your website's performance.



Accessing Visitor Stats

To access your Visitor Stats in your Account Manager, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
  2. Click Websites on the left side of the navigation menu.

    Alternatively, if you manage multiple hosting accounts, click on the Hosting tab to select the account you want to view. If you only have one hosting account, you can skip this step.

    Locate the hosting package you need to manage and click its MANAGE button.

  3. On the website management page, locate the website you need to manage and click its SETTINGS button.

  4. On the Overview page, scroll down slightly to find the Visitor Analytics panel.

  5. Click on the REVIEW YOUR ANALYTICS button.

  6. After that, you can now access your Visitor Analytics page.

  7. For a detailed view of your visitor analytics, click the View Full Metrics button.

  8. Choose your desired domain and click View to open it.

  9. After clicking that, you'll gain access to your View Full Metrics page.

    Note: For more details, you can scroll down in each section to view the monthly history, specific days of the month, days of the week, hours, and the operating systems used to access your website, among other details.

  10. Another option is to view stats for the last 24 hours or the Last 7 days by selecting the desired timeframe from the dropdown menu in the far-right corner of the Visitor Analytics page.

  11. After finishing, scroll down to the Visitor Analytics page to review statistics like Visitors, Page Views, and Bandwidth. Click See More Details for additional insights.

Important: If you're using a CMS like WordPress and a CDN like Cloudflare, the statistics may not be 100% accurate. For more precise results, consider using stats plugins available within your CMS.

To make the most of this information, you should understand each part of your Visitor Analytics page. Tracking your visitor stats helps you analyze website traffic, user behavior, and resource usage effectively.

Below are key metrics you should understand:

  • Visitors: The total number of visits to your website, including both new and returning users. Each time a user accesses your site, it counts as a visit.
  • Page Views: The total number of pages viewed by all visitors. This includes multiple views of the same page by a single user.
  • Bandwidth: The total amount of data transferred when visitors access your website. High bandwidth usage may indicate heavy traffic or large media files being loaded.
