HTML (which stands for Hypertext Markup Language) is a standard markup language designed for displaying content in a web browser. Also, it can be used for free to add custom or stylized elements to a website. It is the only custom coding that can be added to your Bluehost Builder website.
Adding HTML Code
To begin, you will need to access the Bluehost Builder Editor.
- Click the Settings (gear) icon towards the left side of your screen.
- From the side navigation menu, click the HTML injection tab.
- Add your custom <style>, <script>, and other header attributes to the <head> element.
Important Note: Please be aware that you are about to edit advanced code. Invalid code may get kicked back with an error. - Click the Apply button when finished.
Be sure to test your website once you have published changes to ensure your code is working properly!
