Images can be used to capture a moment, evoke emotion, demonstrate a product or service, put a face to your name, and more! You can add images to your pages, blog posts, and products.

Adding Images

To begin, you will need to access the Bluehost Builder Editor. From the Editor, you can add images within the text on a page or post, cover images, and galleries.

Adding Images with Text 

1. Click on the + (Add Section) icon, then choose Media/text from the 'All Categories' list.
2. Choose a template to add your content to. Stock images will be used as placeholders to give you an idea of how and where your image will appear.

Adding Cover Images

1. Click on the + (Add Section) icon, then choose Cover Image from the 'All Categories' list.
2. Choose a template to format your cover. Stock images will be used as placeholders to give you an idea of how and where your image will appear.

Adding Galleries

1. Click on the + (Add Section) icon, then choose Gallery from the 'All Categories' list.
2. Choose a template to display your gallery. Stock images will be used as placeholders to give you an idea of how and where your image will appear.

Once your section has been added:

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to replace, and click the 'image' icon.
2. Click My images, then click the + Add images button. 

   Note: There are 3 ways to add images from your computer:

   • Drag and drop images/files
   • Click Browse files to pull up a local directory of your computer's files
   • Enter the image URL towards the bottom left of your pop-up window
3. Save changes when finished.

Adding Product Images

Product images can be set when adding a product or by editing an existing product. For more information on adding and editing products, please see Bluehost Builder - How to How to Add and Manage Products.

Editing Images

Once you have your images uploaded, you can zoom in/out of, reshape, add hyperlinks, add hover effects, and add alt text to your images.

Zooming In/Out of an Image

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to zoom in or out of and click the 'zoom' icon.
   • Drag the dot towards the + magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
   • Drag the dot towards the - magnifying glass icon to zoom out.
2. Click and drag the image to set orientation.
   

Adding a Hyperlink to an Image

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to add a link to and click the 'chainlink' icon.
2. Choose what you would like this image linked to and enter details.
3. Save changes when finished.
   

Reshaping Images

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to change the shape of, and click the 'gear' icon.
2. From the Shape tab, choose your preferred image shape.
3. Use the Rounded Corners, Border, and Shadow settings to further customize your image shape.
   

Adding Hover Effects to Images

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to add an effect to and click the 'gear' icon.
2. From the Hover tab, click on different options to test their effect on your image.
   

Adding Alt Text to Images

1. Hover over the stock image you would like to add alt text to and click the 'gear' icon.
2. From the Alt Text tab, enter the alt text for your image.
