Knowing what kind of reception your website is receiving is essential to the longevity of your online presence. Using your Bluehost Builder, you have options to internally review different kinds of analytical information such as your total page views, site bounce rate, and user visit duration.

Site Statistics Tool provides you the Last 30 days' worth of basic statistical information. This information includes the Number of Visitors, Bounce Rate, and Session Time, all of which give you a simplified idea of your previous month's traffic.

To begin, you will need to access the Bluehost Builder Editor.

  1. Click the Stats tab from the side navigation menu to the left.

  2. A new screen for Site Statistic Dashboard will load with all the visible elements stacked by categories.

    Site StatisticDescription
    Unique VisitorsIt is the number of visitors (typically new) that have visited your site.
    Bounce RateIt is the number of visitors (typically new) that have visited your site, but they left rather than viewing other pages.
    Session TimeIt is the average amount of time visitors spend viewing your site. (Average Session time)

    Within the Statistics Dashboard: Represented by a Line Graph in which you can adjust from Hour, Day, or Week.

    Unique VisitorsIt represents the number of visitors (typically new) that have visited your site.
    Total VisitsIt represents the number of visitors (whether new or repeat) that have visited your site.
    Page ViewsIt represents the number of visitors (whether new or repeat) who have visited a specific page on your site.
    Bounce RateIt represents the number of visitors (typically new) that have visited your site and left rather than viewing other pages.
    Avg Visit DurationIn terms of "Average Session Time," It represents the average amount of time visitors spend viewing your website. 

    When you scroll down the Site Statistics Screen, you can see the Page Statistic.

    Visitors MapIt displays the number and location of Unique visitors geographically.
    Page statisticsIt is a line item that displays the Total Individual Page Views.

    New vs. ReturningIt is a graph containing the percentage (%) of New visitors versus old visitors who have cached your website previously.
    LanguagesIt displays the number and type of language your website was requested in.
    DevicesIt is the Number and Type of different devices that were used to request your site.
    BrowsersIt is the browsers that were used to request your site.

    Page StatisticDescription
    Traffic SourcesIt displays where visitors were directed to your site from. Such as "Direct," which means they typed in the URL directly into their address bar.
    Regional StatisticsThis is a line item that displays their Country of origin and the total number of Individuals Viewers.

All of this information provides you a concrete, detailed breakdown of who is coming to your site, when they are doing so, what they are doing on your site, and even which device they've used to view your site.
