Microsoft 365 - Setting up Office Apps


To download Microsoft Office apps, you will need to be logged in to your Microsoft portal. For more information on doing so, please see Microsoft 365: Setting up Email for Desktops.

  1. Once signed in, click the Install Microsoft 365 button.
  2. Choose Microsoft 365 apps from the drop-down.

    Important:Select Other install options if you need to select other applications that are not included in Standard Microsoft 365 Suite or if you want to choose a different language or bit version. By default, it will download the 32-bit English version.

  3. Ensure to allow and save the app file to your computer. Click the Save File to continue.
  4. Once the download is finished, open the file and follow the instructions to install the Office app on your computer.
  5. Choose the app(s) you would like on your desktop to begin the download.
  6. Open the Microsoft 365 app and log in using your Microsoft 365 email address and password to start using your Outlook email.
