Resellers: Troubleshooting cPanel

Occasionally, some of the files needed for cPanel will become corrupted. There is a straightforward fix to resolve the issue. This article will explain how to use the Maintenance plugin to resolve this issue. Follow the steps below for cPanel Reseller troubleshooting.

Important: In November 2014, Bluehost announced it would no longer accept new shared Reseller hosting signups. As part of that announcement, Bluehost announced a partnership with ResellerClub wherein Bluehost is recommending ResellerClub as the hosting partner of choice for Reseller hosting.

Resolving Whitescreen Errors

One of the cPanel reseller troubleshooting tools that you can use are the Maintenance tools:

  1. Log into your Bluehost Account Manager.
  2. Click the Reseller tab.
  3. Click the WHM icon.
  4. Click Maintenance tools, which are located in the Plugins Section.
  5. From the drop-down menu, select the account with the white screen.
  6. Check the Clean cPanel and Fix Ownership option.
  7. Click the Perform Maintenance button.
