How to Uninstall WordPress
If you are no longer using a WordPress site, you can uninstall WordPress to remove all website content and application installation files. This article explains how to uninstall WordPress from your Account Manager.

Uninstalling a WordPress Site
- Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
- Click the Websites tab from the side navigation.
- Locate the WordPress website, and click SETTINGS.
- From the website settings page that loads, click the SETTINGS tab in the horizontal menu.
- Scroll down to the Site Management section, and click REMOVE WORDPRESS.
- You will see a pop-up reminding you that removing WordPress will also remove all files associated with this installation. Check the box to aknowledge that you understand this and have any backups needed for this website.
- Click REMOVE WORDPRESS to confirm.
The installation and files will be removed.
Removing a Staging Site
Follow the steps on how to remove a staging site:
- Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
- Click the Websites tab from the side navigation.
- Locate the WordPress website, and then click EDIT SITE to log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Click Staging on the Bluehost plugin in your WordPress dashboard on the left menu.
- Then, click the delete icon on the right side of your staging site.
- To confirm the deletion, click the Delete button in the pop-up window.
The staging site will be removed.
