How to Update Your Credit Card
Managing your payment methods ensures uninterrupted service for your Bluehost account. You can set a primary payment method that will be used for all future renewals, including any new products you add—even if you use a different card during checkout. To avoid service disruptions, make sure your payment details are always up to date, especially if your card changes or expires. Update your credit card information at any time through your Account Manager. Bluehost accepts American Express, Discover (USD), MasterCard, and VISA. We also accept other payment methods such as PayPal and Google Pay. Update Credit Card Information
For our valued customers in India:
Due to current compliance regulations of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), we're unable to offer the option to save or store credit card details for recurring billing purposes. As a result, automatic renewals are not supported at this time.
To ensure your service remains uninterrupted, please manually renew your subscriptions through the Bluehost Account Manager's Renewal Center. We will send timely reminders before your renewal dates to keep you informed.
Update the payment method for your Bluehost account by following these steps:
- Log in to your Bluehost Portal.
- In the left-hand menu, click Billing.

- Click the Payment Methods tab.
On this page, you have two options to update your payment method:
Edit Existing Payment Method
- Click Edit on the existing payment method.

- In the Edit Payment Method pop-up:
- Update the Billing Information if it differs from the existing card details.
- Enter the updated Expiration Date and Name on Card.

- Click Save to apply the changes to the existing payment method.
Add Another Payment Method
- Select the Add Payment Method button.

- In the Add Payment Method pop-up:
- Update the Billing Information if the new card has different details.
- Enter the Payment Information for the new card.

- Click Save to add the new payment method.
Summary
You can update your expired credit card information or add a new payment method to your Bluehost account. Our payment options include credit or debit cards and PayPal. Once you save your changes, you can set your preferred option as your primary payment method. This primary method will be used for all future renewals, even if you use a different card when purchasing new products.
