This article will explain how to set up FTP on a VPS and a Dedicated server.

How to Set up FTP

  1. Log in to your Bluehost Portal.
  2. Click Hosting in the left-hand menu.
  3. In the hosting details page, click the WHM button.

  1. Search for FTP in the top left corner of the WHM.
  2. Select FTP Server Selection.

  3. Here, the default setting for FTP is Disabled.
  4. We advise using the PURE-FTPD service as it is the server's faster, more reliable FTP service.
