Resellers: Enable SSH for Resold Accounts

What is SSH?

SSH (Secure Shell) access offers users secure and remote system control. It allows a secure and encrypted connection between the user's device and a remote computer, usually a server. If the connection is intercepted, the data transmitted will be encrypted and thus unintelligible without decryption. SSH employs encryption methods, making it difficult for unauthorized individuals to decipher the transmitted data.

How to Enable SSH for Resold Accounts

Follow the steps below to enable SSH for resold accounts with WHM:

  1. Log in to your Reseller account.
  2. Go to the Packages section, then click Edit a Package.
  3. Select the package that you want to change.
  4. On the next page, scroll down and go to Settings.
  5. Tick the checkbox next to Shell Access.
  6. Then, click the Save Changes button.

Following those steps will enable SSH/Shell Access for the account or accounts using the package, allowing server security.
