Account Security Pin

How Does it Work?

The account security PIN is a secure way to verify that you are an authorized user of your account when you contact one of our support teams for assistance.

Before an agent can review or provide account-specific information, they need to validate that you have authorized access to the account. When asked for validation, you can provide the 6-digit Security Pin to the agent you're speaking with.

How to Set Your Security Pin

You will set your pin during the account setup process. If you need to change your pin at any time, you can do so from My Profile.

How to Change Your Security Pin

  1. Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
  2. Click on your account name in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Click on My Profile from the drop-down that appears.
  4. You will need to enter your password before you can continue.
  5. Enter your new pin, then click the Save button.
    Your pin must have:
    • 6 numbers
    • No more than 2 repeated numbers
    • No more than 2 sequential numbers
