How to Install ClientExec or WHMCS on Your Reseller Account

Important: In November 2014, Bluehost announced it would no longer accept new shared Reseller hosting sign-ups. Bluehost announced a partnership with ResellerClub wherein Bluehost is recommending ResellerClub as the hosting partner of choice for Reseller hosting.

There are two billing applications that you can use for your reseller account: ClientExec and WHMCS. Both are free to use, but you may only install one. Follow the steps below to install ClientExec or WHMCS on your reseller account.



How to Install ClientExec on Reseller Account

How to Install WHMCS on Reseller Hosting

  1. Log in to your Control Panel.
  2. Click Billing under the Reseller Management Tools.
  3. Select either WHMCS from this page and click Continue.
  4. You can choose which folder to install this software; the default folder will be members.
  5. The email address used to create your reseller account will be used to log in.
  6. You will be asked for a password to use to log in. Your password must meet the following requirements:
    • A lowercase letter (abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz)
    • An uppercase letter (ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ)
    • A symbol (`~!@#$%^&*()_+-={}|[\;:",]./<>?')
    • A number (0123456789)
    • At least 8 characters long
    • The password cannot be the same as your cPanel password
  7. Click Submit to complete the installation of your billing software.
