How to Check Disk Space for Resold Accounts
Important: In November 2014, Bluehost announced it would no longer accept new shared Reseller hosting signups. Bluehost announced a partnership with ResellerClub as the hosting partner of choice for Reseller hosting.
The quantity of space accessible on the server where a resold customer can store the content of their website is known as disk space. The content of their website includes files, databases, pages, images, and videos. Sometimes, this space can also be utilized to store emails. Learn how to check disk space for resold accounts.
Check Disk Space for Resold Accounts in WHM
- Log in to your reseller account. For instructions on how to log in, see Resellers: Where to Log in to your Account.
- Once you have logged in to WHM, go to the Reseller section.
- Click on List Accounts.
From this page, you can see all your customer accounts. The third to the last column is "Disk Used"; this shows how much space an account uses. Please be mindful of the hosting package you are on so you know how much space you have left.
Best Practices for Managing Disk Space
Follow these best practices for managing disk space for resold accounts:
- You can limit the amount of disk space for each resold account to prevent running out of disk space. Change the quota for each account by updating the disk space in the List Accounts section. Ensure the sum of quotas is less than your server's disk space.
- Always check the amount of disk space your server is using. You can enable your WHM settings to inform you when disk space almost reaches its quota. Go to Server Configuration and choose Tweak Settings. Under Notification, you can enable notifications related to your disk space usage.
