Website Builder (for WordPress) - WordPress Editor
Website Builder is an online website creation tool with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface that has been integrated with WordPress as a plugin. This article explains how to access your Website Builder tool.
Mixed Mode
Once you have finished the initial setup, you will be able to edit your new website using the Website Builder or WordPress editors interchangeably.
Using WordPress:
By default, you will see the Website Builder editor when you open your Website Builder to build and make changes to your website. To switch to the WordPress editor:
- Once you have accessed your Website Builder, you will see your editing options listed along the left-hand side of your screen.
- Click the WP Admin icon from the menu to the left.
Your WordPress dashboard will load.
Using Website Builder
If you are using the WordPress editor, changes made will reflect in your Website Builder editor as well. To get back into the Website Builder editor:
- From within the WordPress editor, you will see the main editing options listed to the left, similar to those of your Website Builder.
- Click on the Website Builder option to switch back to the Website Builder editor.
Your Website Builder interface will load.
Important: Again, all changes made in the Website Builder editor will be reflected in your WordPress dashboard, and vice versa; all changes made in WordPress will be reflected on your Website Builder. Feel free to edit between the two as needed.
