I have been a long term customer of Bluehost. It was necessary to go through a relatively complex process involving many subfolders on my hosting account. I had the great fortune of receiving Lee O, as the technical support technician, guide, and expert assistant on this. Lee O. is the consummate professional. Entirely knowledgeable, she was able to navigate and generate the multiple steps necessary to solve this problem. Her communication was clear, warm, and focused on the task with a clear demonstration of her first-class ability and experience. The task required time, and Lee O. gave this with exactly the very best combination of knowledge, personality, communication, understanding and effectiveness. Not only that, but it was clear that Lee O. was fundamentally dedicated to solving the problem for the customer. This is obviously a basic part of her nature, and makes her a true prize for Bluehost. I am a doctor and have been treating people beginning 38 years ago. I can say with absolute certainty that Lee has a set of abilities, communication skills, knowledge, and care in her work that places her at the top. I very much hope you recognize her. Very Helpful and Informative If you need help with literally ANYTHING on your WordPress.org website, the folks behind the Support Chat are absolutely stellar. I recently noticed a charge for an auto-renewal from Bluehost on my credit card statement. My business had been closed since COVID, and because the closure was not a planned or “happy” ending, I simply stopped paying attention to the website and related peripheral details, including the auto-renewal. I contacted Bluehost customer support as soon as I noticed the charge. The associate explained that, because it had been more than two months since the auto-renewal, the charge was outside the refund period. I completely understand that there is a policy in place. What I really appreciated, however, was that the associate took the time to understand my situation and genuinely tried to help rather than simply dismissing my request. I appreciate that effort and the understanding shown during the conversation. I sincerely hope the financial department will consider the circumstances and make an exception by processing a refund. It would mean a lot, especially since the service was no longer being used after my business closed during COVID. Thank you to the support associate for listening and trying to help.
