Initial Setup
Scanner and Content Delivery Network (CDN)/Web Application Firewall (WAF) will be autoconfigured by the system. You will not visually see the scanner running at the same time as a computer scan.
You can view the scan's content under Dashlets. It is located on your SiteLock Dashboard.
- The SMART scan may show as pending until it is completed.
- The TrueShield Dashlet reads as pending until the setup is completed.
- The SSL verification on the TrueShield Dashlet may read as pending for up to 72 hours.
Assignment of a SiteLock Analyst
SiteLock will offer you a dedicated SiteLock Analyst as a free bonus. The analyst ensures that all steps in resolving your cleaning are completed in this plan. This analyst is usually the representative who initially assisted you in setting up the Prevent Plus service.
Email Communication
You will get both automated emails and ones sent directly from your analyst.
- The SMART scanner will send automated emails after cleaning your site.
- Your analyst will provide more detailed information than the automated emails you receive. This may include specifics about the clean request, actions taken, and any additional action items that may be needed.
Post-clean Process

Prevention
- Check for updates if you use CMS platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc., at least a few times a week.
