Contributor Day – April 4, 2025
WordCamp Nepal kicks off with Contributor Day on April 4. It’s a dedicated day for giving back to WordPress, whether you’re a developer, designer, writer, translator, or someone just looking to get started.
There will be multiple tables and support for teams such as Core, Design, Documentation, Polyglots, Support, and more. No experience is necessary—just bring your laptop and curiosity.

Sessions at WordCamp Nepal
WordCamp Nepal 2025 will include a solid mix of talks, from tech-focused topics to sessions about working better together:
- Avinash Kundaliya will be speaking on “Just enough AI/LLMs to make your WordPress site smart”, where he’ll introduce the audience to LLMs and give an intuition of how they work.
- Santosh Kunwar will be leading a workshop on “Developing Block Themes with modern development practices”, focusing on hands-on learning with tools and workflows for block theme creation so developers can contribute themes to WordPress.org, expanding their reach.
- Adeline Dahal will be speaking on “Boost your local business with a Google Business Profile for SEO Success”, where she’ll be providing information on why local businesses must give their Google Business Profile’s the attention it deserves, and how in doing so, they will be able to drive more foot traffic and online queries for their business.
- Ishu Subedi Dharel will be speaking on “UI/UX Crimes: Are you Guilty or Innocent?”, a session where attendees will step into the role of a design detective, analyzing real-world interfaces to determine whether they’re innocent or guilty of UI/UX crimes.
- Saloni Mehta will be running a workshop titled “WooWorkshop: Mastering Extensions”, diving into how to develop a WooCommerce extension plugin from scratch.
A few extras to look forward to
Along with great sessions and conversations, WordCamp Nepal 2025 will include a few fun perks for attendees. You’ll find a photo booth to capture moments with new friends, swag and T-shirts to take home, and an After-Party to wrap things up.
The After-Party will be held at Kundalini Royals in Attarkhel, Jorpati, Kathmandu on Saturday, April 5th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. It’s all part of what makes WordCamps more than just an event—it’s a gathering you’ll remember.
