The representative who assisted me, Simon, did an awesome job! Thank you very much, Simon and Bluehost!

Mohammed was amazing, very helpful. Please give him a raise😅. wish you all the best
Overall, I have been very well treated and quite happy with the LIVE human agents at Bluehost. Agentic AI is not so helpful so I prefer to chat with a live agent. They have always been able to solve my problems.
i spoke to george he based in Philippines and he was professional and helpful , previously i also spoke to Joy ( Jeyscent ) she did offer time to explain me everything i need to my website baggage .. thank you all Sammy Adams
They were super knowledgeable and helpful! :)
Today July 14 was a great experience with using Bluehost! First, I received excellent help on resolving a confusing email that I had received. Second, I had to call billing after the first call. Because I had mistakenly initiated the continuance of 2 web domains and received a resulting bill sent to me. So just minutes after that mistake I needed to request a deletion of the bill and get a refund. The woman in billing provided the absolute best service in all ways: accurate, efficient, soft-spoken, productive. Every detail that she handled was perfectly performed. She investigated the situation and was able to generate the refund. In addition, she also delete 2 domains that I did not need (mforallcount domains). I told her that I would give her all 5's on my evaluation of her performance. However, when I pressed 5 at the first question my telephone submitted a string of numbers (instead of a 5) and caused the survey to immediately end. She is an incredibly great Bluehost employee, so I hope my evaluation of "all 5's" could be sent to her department management, although I appreciate that the possibility of having it be sent to the billing department of Bluehost may have an extremely low chance of happening. (If it does happen, please let me know. Thanks!)
The agent was very knowledgeable and very patient. Very helpful in so many ways. We were able to clear up our email issue with one long call, thanks to their patience and understanding.
Sem was the tech that helped me. She was forever patient and super clear in her communications. I am not at all technical. Sem walked me literally click by click. It was quick and easy with her instructions.
Eithan was very helpful and resolved my issue great team Bluehost are excellent
Pooja, their representative was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
Harshitha Shivamallappa was incredibly helpful and fixed a website issue in no time at all!
The AI Assistant could not help with my DNS request, so it connected me to a live representative. I always have an excellent Bluehost customer service experience, whether it's a live representative or the AI Assistant.
I had trouble with a site migration that was giving me headaches, particularly re-syncing the mail server records from the older site to the new. After quite a few contacts with Bluehost support, however, the problem was resolved. I have been a Bluehost customer for over 20 years now, and I regard them to be a reliable ISP, with excellent uptime statistics. Bluehost support services -- especially the level III support -- is also excellent. I recommend highly Bluehost...
Very awesome Experience. Expert to the core
Bluehost is perhaps the best online webhosting and domain hosting interface. Customer services are excellent and very helpful.
The phone has been answered quickly. Technical support got me launched.
I needed to obtain authorization from Mailchimp to be able to send out a newsletter email and had no idea how to navigate that process. Don helped me with patience and understanding that this operation was well above my pay grade. Not only did he walk me through the process, he was able to determine that my crossing borders.life page had issues and my next step is to contact the son of the person who built the site with Wordpress to see if he can get it back up and running. His father passed away a few months ago and it's been far above my abilities to build a site.
Nireeksha resolved my website issue within minutes. She was patient, and understood how urgently I needed to get my site back to normal.
We started with AI assistant, but got to a live representative quite soon when it was clear that I needed more hand-holding. The representative was super helpful and came up with (I hope!) a good solution.
Transfer to Bluehost in minutes, simple, secure and hassle-free.
A domain transfer is the process of moving your domain registration from one provider to another. During the transfer, your website remains active as long as DNS settings are properly maintained. However, the transfer process involves updating the domain's registration details. It may temporarily cause slight delays in DNS propagation, but with proper planning, your website and email services typically experience minimal or no downtime.
Yes. Before initiating a transfer, ensure that your domain is eligible: it must be at least 60 days old and not involved in any legal or transfer restrictions. Also, unlock your domain at your current registrar, disable any domain privacy or privacy protection services and obtain the authorization or transfer code (EPP code). Make sure your contact information is up to date, as you'll need to verify ownership during the process.
Yes, Bluehost transfer fee generally covers a one-year renewal of your domain registration. Additional services like domain privacy protection (WHOIS privacy) may incur extra charges, depending on the domain extension. Always review current pricing, as promotions and fees can vary. Once transferred, your domain is renewed annually based on your registration period.
Yes, you can transfer domains that have expired if they are still within the registrar’s redemption or grace period, but this varies by domain extension and registrar policies. If a domain has lapsed beyond its grace period, it may be in the redemption period, during which recovery might require additional fees and procedures. It’s best to act promptly and verify the domain’s status with your current registrar to ensure transfer eligibility.
Transferring your domain to Bluehost offers several benefits:
Your email and DNS settings typically remain unchanged during transfer if unmodified. However, some registrars manage DNS records internally, so verify if your DNS records (like MX records for email) are properly configured after transfer. Bluehost provides DNS management tools to maintain continuity of your email and website services. To avoid disruption, make DNS or email provider changes after the transfer. Need assistance? Bluehost's support team is ready to help!
Most domains are eligible to transfer to Bluehost with specific requirements. Your domain must be at least 60 days old, unlocked at your current registrar and free from disputes or legal restrictions. To verify eligibility, check your registrar account to confirm the domain is unlocked and transfer-ready, ensure you have the authorization code (EPP code) and verify contact information is accurate. If you're unsure or don't meet requirements, contact your registrar or our support team for guidance.
Domain transfers typically complete in 5-7 days, though timing varies by registrar and domain extension. Key factors affecting speed include responding promptly to approval emails, ensuring your domain is unlocked and having the correct authorization code. Common delays stem from locked domains, missing codes, or approval emails in spam folders.
Your website and email services continue operating normally throughout the transfer. Consistent DNS settings ensure zero disruption to your site or business operations.
Managing multiple domain transfers requires careful organization. Create a checklist for each domain that includes unlocking at your current registrar, obtaining authorization codes and verifying contact information. This systematic approach prevents delays and reduces the risk of missed approvals that could complicate your transfer process.
Monitor your email closely during transfers, as each domain generates separate confirmation emails that require timely responses. Break transfers into manageable batches rather than moving everything at once to track progress more effectively. Keep detailed records of domains in progress and maintain a simple tracking system to ensure you respond promptly to approval requests.
Under ICANN rules, a domain must be at least 60 days old and cannot have been transferred within the previous 60 days. You must initiate the transfer while the domain is unlocked at your current provider and ensure all WHOIS privacy services are disabled there.
