The much-anticipated WordCamp Phoenix 2024 took place on February 9-10 at Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona, bringing together a diverse community of WordPress users, developers, and aficionados. This event was not just a conference—it was a celebration of the WordPress platform, which powers a significant portion of the web.  

This year’s edition again brought together participants to share their passion, insights, and stories, offering a unique opportunity to connect with others, learn from industry experts, and be inspired by the collective knowledge and creativity of the community.

WordCamp Phoenix 2024 featured a rich and diverse lineup of sessions. Jocelyn Hendrickson, Sr. Product Manager, Bluehost, presented “E-Commerce Analytics for WordPress: Navigating Data to Propel Online Success.” The session was a must-attend for anyone looking to leverage data analytics in e-commerce. 

Micah Wood, Engineering Manager, Bluehost, enlightened attendees with his talk on “Development Automations with GitHub Actions,” where he offered insights into streamlining development workflows. 

Chris David Miles, Sr. Product Manager, Bluehost, will be speaking on “Understanding Your Customer Using Personas and Empathy Maps,” discussing the importance of high-quality images, engaging product descriptions, and SEO-friendly content that converts visitors into buyers. 

Keanan Koppenhaver spoke on “AI Crash Course for WordPress Users,” discussing how AI can be integrated into daily workflows. 

Winstina Hughes & Yvonne Gonzalez gave an enlightening talk on “Leading in Tech: 3 Core Competencies for Current and Future Leaders,” shedding light on universal leadership competencies applicable across tech sectors and remote teams.
