We’re giving you more choice over where your Managed VPS or Dedicated Hosting infrastructure runs. 

When you make a new purchase, you can review the available data center locations and select your preferred region during checkout. Your choice determines where we provision your new server. Once provisioning is complete, you can also view the selected data center in Account Manager. 

This gives you more regional flexibility, especially when your users or workloads are concentrated in a specific part of the world. 

Important: Region selection is available on new signups and new server purchases. It does not apply to servers that are already active.

During checkout, we’ll show you the available locations so you can choose the one that best fits your audience and workload. You can review your choice before completing your purchase, and we’ll provision your server in the selected data center. 

After provisioning, you can view the active location alongside your server details in Account Manager. 

Because you choose the location before deployment, consider where most of your users and applications are based.

If most of your customers are in the United Kingdom, you may consider London. For Central European audiences, Frankfurt or Amsterdam may be suitable. Singapore may better align with Southeast Asian users, while Mumbai can be a suitable option for users in India and nearby regions. Sydney can support Australian audiences. 

If your users are mainly in North America, you can choose between Ashburn, Phoenix and Toronto based on your requirements.

What should you know before selecting your data center? 

Before choosing a location, keep these points in mind: 

• Available for new purchases: Our expanded selection applies to new Managed VPS and Dedicated Hosting purchases.  

• Choose during checkout: You select your preferred location before completing your purchase. 

• Provisioned where you choose: We provision your server in the data center you select.  

• Visible in Account Manager: You can see your active data center after provisioning. 

• No current location change after deployment: Your selected data center is read-only after provisioning. There is no in-panel option to move a server to a different location.

• Consistent pricing across locations: At launch, your selected data center does not change the product pricing.
