ASP .NET MS Access Linux Compatibility

Our system runs on a Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) stack, which means we don’t support technologies like .NET, ASP, Access, COM objects, or Web Bots. Instead, the platform is designed to work seamlessly with tools such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, PHP, CGI, Perl, Python, and Ruby on Rails. This configuration provides strong compatibility with widely used programming languages and databases, ensuring flexibility and reliability for developers.
Although switching databases or programming languages for your site might not always be practical, we recommend the following alternatives for improved ASP .NET Linux compatibility and MS Access database integration:
  • Hire a developer to reprogram ASP.NET in CGI, PHP, or another scripting language that is Linux compatible.
  • Convert the pages to PHP by using Microsoft's conversion tool.
  • Move your content to a host that provides Windows-based services.
