What’s new with Bluehost AI Gateway? 

Bluehost AI Gateway brings multi-provider LLM access to Self-Managed VPS and VDS.

AI Credits provide the prepaid balance for your AI usage. After purchasing credits, you can create an API key and configure your eligible AI application to use the gateway. Your credits are held in one shared wallet at the account level, so the balance can be used across your VPS and VDS instances instead of being tied to a single server. 

The LLM Gateway supports eligible AI applications including OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, n8n, NanoClaw, Claude Code, Open WebUI, Ollama, Langflow, Dify and more. 

This gives AI app builders, developers and indie SaaS teams a simpler way to manage LLM access with one wallet, one API key and one bill. 

Manage AI usage with Bluehost AI Credits 

With Bluehost AI Credits, you can purchase a prepaid balance and use it across the supported models available through Bluehost AI Gateway. 

Your AI Credits balance is shared across your Self-Managed VPS and VDS instances under your account. You don’t need a separate credit balance for each server or separate billing relationships with individual LLM providers. 

Choose from four prepaid credit packs: 

• 500 credits: $5 

• 1,000 credits: $10 

• 5,000 credits: $50 

• 10,000 credits: $100 

All packs use the same $0.01-per-credit rate. There is no subscription or auto-renewal, so you can purchase credits based on your needs. Credits are non-refundable and remain valid for 12 months from your latest purchase. Each new purchase resets the validity period for your remaining balance. 

Add AI Credits when you need them 

Whether you’re deploying a new AI application on a VPS or already have a Self-Managed VPS or VDS, you can purchase AI Credits through two entry points. 

1. When purchasing a new VPS or VDS: 

Select an eligible AI Agent app in the configurator and choose an AI Credits pack as an add-on during checkout. This lets you purchase credits alongside your hosting and AI application. 

2. If you already have a VPS or VDS: 

Open the AI Tooling tab in your VPS panel and select Add AI Credits. Existing customers can use this option for their first AI Credits purchase or to top up an existing balance. 

You don’t need to purchase a new VPS or VDS to use the AI Gateway for VPS. Existing Self-Managed VPS and VDS customers can purchase AI Credits directly from their panel. 

Use one API key across eligible AI apps 

After purchasing AI Credits, you can create an API key and configure your eligible AI applications to use the gateway. 

Your API keys aren’t tied to a specific VPS or VDS, so you can use them across eligible applications while drawing from the same account-level credit balance. You can create multiple keys and use descriptive names to help keep your applications organized. 

For security, the full API key is displayed only once when you create it. After that, the key remains masked, with the first few characters visible as an identifier.
