Bluehost Account Manager Websites Security Tab
The Bluehost Websites Security tab is your hub for critical protections like SSL certificates, SiteLock, and IP blocking. Follow these steps to access and optimize your site's security settings.
How to Access the Websites Security Tab
- Log in to your Bluehost Account Manager.
- Click Websites on the left side of the navigation menu.
- If you have only one website, you’ll go directly to its Overview page.
- If you have multiple websites, all websites will be listed. Click Settings to access the Overview menu of the desired site.
- Once you're in the website settings, click the Security tab.
- In the Security tab, you have the following options:
- SSL Certificates Tile - Allows you to check the current status of your SSL Certificate. Clicking the three vertical ellipsis icon will allow you to do the following:
- View SSL Logs - Select this option to view your SSL logs.
- Generate CSR - Select this option to generate a CSR for your SSL.
- Upload SSL - Select this option to manually upload your SSL certificate.
- SSL Manager Card - Click the manage button to manage your SSL certificates.
- SiteLock Card - Allows you to add or manage your SiteLock if you have already purchased one.
- Check Core WordPress Files Card - These files store crucial WordPress information, like functionality. If the WordPress admin isn't working or if you see other errors, you can run this scan to see if your WordPress core files are intact.
- IP Blocker Card - This will allow you to add/remove IP addresses to your IP blocklist.
- SSL Certificates Tile - Allows you to check the current status of your SSL Certificate. Clicking the three vertical ellipsis icon will allow you to do the following:
