Clone a WordPress Site

Follow the steps below to create a copy of an existing WordPress website.

Step 1: Access the Websites Page

1. Log in to your Bluehost account.

3. (If applicable) Locate the hosting package where you want to create the cloned website.
4. Click the Add Website button.
5. From the drop-down menu, select Clone WordPress Website.

   
    

Step 2: Select a Site to Clone

1. Browse the list of available WordPress websites.

Step 3: Configure the Cloned Site

1. Enter a Site Title for the cloned website.
2. Enter the Admin Email address.
3. Enter the Admin Username.
4. Configure any available Advanced Settings, including:

Step 4: Connect a Domain

1. Enter the domain name you want to assign to the cloned website.

   Select Use a temporary domain if you do not want to connect a domain yet.

Step 5: Complete the Cloning Process

1. The system will begin creating the cloned WordPress website.
2. Wait for the cloning process to complete.

   
    

3. Once the clone has been successfully created, a confirmation message will appear.
