Bluehost is a Utah-based web hosting company that provides comprehensive web solutions to internet users around the world. Founded in 2003, Bluehost has consistently delivered on its promise of empowering people to fully harness the web. The Bluehost Internet in Education Scholarship allows future professionals to share their insights on the power of the internet.
Three students will be selected to receive $1,500 in scholarship funds based on their essay responses to the following prompt:
How has the internet changed the traditional collegiate system and are those changes good or bad? How do you believe the web will revolutionize post-secondary education in the future?
The scholarships will be awarded to those who write the most compelling one-page essays as judged by Bluehost staff members. Scholarship funds must be used to pay for qualified expenses, including tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board in 2017.
To enter, send a completed one-page essay to [email protected], along with your name, college/university, expected year of graduation, and intended major or area of study.
The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2017. Winners will be notified individually and announced on or about May 1, 2017.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be enrolled in an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or graduate-level program at an accredited two-year college or four-year university during the 2016–2017 academic year. Students of all majors are encouraged to apply.
- Employees of or immediate family members of employees of Bluehost or Endurance International Group are ineligible for this award.
