Bluehost AI Builder lets you create a website, a working web app, or both by describing what you need in plain language. You don’t need to know how to code, hire a developer, or install anything.

You type what you want. AI Builder may ask a few short questions about your business. A few minutes later, you have a real, working site or app you can review, change, and publish.

What You Can Build

AI Builder creates websites and web apps from the same prompt box, so you don’t need a different product for each:

A website presents your business, such as your services, photos, hours, and contact details.
A web app lets people do something, such as book an appointment, request a quote, or submit an order your team tracks.
Both: many businesses use a website to bring people in and an app to handle what they do next.

Web Apps, Not Phone Apps

Your sites and apps run in a web browser. Customers open them on a phone, a tablet, or a computer, and everything adjusts to fit the screen. There’s nothing to download.

These aren’t phone apps from the App Store or Google Play, so you don’t submit anything to Apple or Google. Your site or app lives at a web address, and you share it the way you’d share any link, such as in a text message, an email, a social post, or a QR code on a printed menu.

How It Works

Describe what you want. Type a sentence or two into the prompt box, such as “A florist in Hudson with a gallery of arrangements and a delivery request form.” If you’re not sure how to start, choose one of the suggestions below the box and edit it. To match your branding, click Add (+) to add your logo or photos, or share a site you like as a design reference.
Answer a few questions. If anything about your business is unclear, AI Builder asks up to three short questions, each with a few options and one marked as recommended. Answering them doesn’t use credits and helps you get a closer first result. If you skip them, AI Builder uses the recommended answers and starts right away.
Wait a few minutes. A checklist ticks off as each part is built. You can close the tab or walk away. The build keeps running, and your site or app is waiting when you come back.
Review and ask for changes. Your site or app appears in a preview beside the chat. To change anything, describe it in the chat, the same way you described it the first time.
Publish when you’re ready. Nothing goes live until you publish. After that, most changes stay in your preview until you publish again. Changes to your business name, business details, or prices go live right away, after AI Builder asks you to confirm.

Everything AI Builder creates is built to work on phones and to follow search engine best practices, including page titles, descriptions, and image descriptions.

Free sites and apps go live on an automatically generated Bluehost AI Builder address ending in .app.bluehost.ai. The address can’t be changed and isn’t indexed by search engines. To use a domain you own, such as yourbusiness.com, upgrade to a paid plan. Hosting is included on every plan.

How Credits Work

Each message that creates or changes your site or app uses 1 credit, however large or small the change. That includes your first build. Answering the questions AI Builder asks before your first build doesn’t use credits, and neither do questions that don’t change your site or app, such as “What does this page do?” These free messages are limited to prevent abuse.

You can buy a credit top-up on any plan, including Free. Credits don’t roll over. Plan credits expire 30 days after they’re added, and top-up credits expire 30 days after purchase.

If You Run Out of Credits

Your published site or app stays online exactly as it is. Only new changes pause until your credits refresh, you buy a top-up, or you upgrade. Hosting and visitors never use credits.
